Post-Launch Beta Program
To become a POST-LAUNCH beta tester, you must join the Pico Tanks Discord server!
More information about how to apply can be found on the Pico Tanks Discord server.
Beta testers are given early access to new game versions prior to official release, as well as beta-only channels on our Discord. You are expected to provide feedback and participate in discussion on Discord with other beta testers and the developers. Any and all feedback you can provide about your experience is highly valued!
Please Note: The Pico Tanks Beta is only available for one or two weeks prior to the official release of an update. Also, if you applied previously (pre-launch in 2018 or 2019), you’ll need to apply again to access the post-launch beta.

Pico Tanks Version 10.0 Update
Matchmaking just got a whole lot easier with a new system that automatically searches for players in nearby server regions, so you no longer have to manually go looking. 🔎 Players now have temporary invulnerability upon respawning so you can have a second to compose yourself before jumping back into the mayhem.

Pico Tanks Version 9.0 Update
Coordinate your team in a whole new way with command emotes. Lead the charge with the ⚔ ATTACK emote, regroup to protect the flag with 🔻 GROUP UP emote, and request help with the ➕ HEAL ME emote. Plus, do this with style, with 16 brand new skins to customise with!

Pico Tanks Version 8.0 Update
So. Many. Balancing changes. Get ready to refine those strategies with your team! Customising your Loadouts just got a bit easier as well with new info buttons that show stats and descriptions. Make sure you check out the updated Galaxy Skin, and the Orange Metal Skin – now even more orange! 🍊

Pico Tanks Beta Version 7.0 Update was used only for SXSW Gaming expo. Version 8.0 will be the next available build to test. Thank you
Pico Tanks Version 6.0 Update
3v3 mode is BACK! Loads more new skins, slick new Loudout menu UI, as well as smoke and rumble effects for dying tanks (rip). Plus emoji reaction sounds to annoy your enemies (and friends), and an Easter egg in 1v1. 😏

Pico Tanks Version 5.0 Update
1v1 now has ducks, and other important updates. New skins, matches can now go into overtime, and abilities now require ‘energy’. But clearly the ducks are the most notable inclusion. 🦆

The next beta event will be next Monday 4:30am UTC and is for all regions. Those who can connect to Australia, Asia or US-West server regions will be able to play matches with the developers. Check your local time here.
